The perfect combination?

As Pat Chapman - Curry Master Chef and Editor of the Good Curry Guide explains, Cobra is the perfect curry companion. 'I have been extolling the virtues of Cobra since 1990 when it was just breaking into Britain's Indian restaurants. Cobra was crafted in Bangalore using a traditional blend of ingredients to accompany curry as a smooth alternative to rival offerings and from the first time I tasted it I loved the beer. It had a unique, modern Indian identity, with an aroma and rounded taste I'd never encountered before. Not surprisingly Cobra took off as THE beer to drink with curry, whether at home or in the local curry restaurant.

At a time when sharing a curry and beer with friends and family is so ingrained in our culture, National Curry Week is the perfect time to help strengthen further the association between Cobra and curry eating occasions, both by equipping Brits to cook Indian cuisine in the home, and building upon the brand’s prominence in Indian restaurants and local curry-houses.

For me, getting together to share a great curry and the great social experience of sharing different dishes and accompaniments without Cobra Beer is achievable, but inconceivable.'
